  • The hill and car parks are open all the time. The Bennachie Visitor Centre is open daily from 10am - 4:30pm April to October.

  • Public toilets are situated at the Bennachie Visitor Centre and and seasonal facilities at the Back o'Bennachie and Rowantree car parks.

  • The Bennachie Visitor Centre serves a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice-cream. Groups can be catered to - please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

  • Yes, there is a notice board map in the car park. You can also download from the FLS website.

  • Although the Bennachie hill range is made up of many peaks the most popular summit is Mither Tap. The summit can be reached from various car parks but the main path runs from the Visitor Centre, allow approximately 2.5 hours to go up and back.

  • All the main routes on the hill are waymarked.

  • Yes, tables are provided in the car parks. Please note there is no seating up the hill.

  • Yes, the Discovery Trail from the Bennachie Visitor Centre is an all abilities trail.

  • There are four car parks giving access to Bennachie - the Rowantree car park, Donview, Back o'Bennachie and at the Bennachie Visitor Centre. Details can be found here.

  • The annual car parking pass can be purchased from Forestry and Land Scotland and it covers Roseisle, Culbin, Whiteash, Back o'Bennachie, Bennachie Centre, Countesswells, Foggieton and Scolty sites where Parking, Pay and Display applies.
