The first Bennachie app is available to download and use, enabling you to explore the Colony as it was in its prime. This new free app called "Bennachie Colony App" allows the users to see into the past and find out more about the people who lived on the slopes of Bennachie in the 1860s by following the Colony trail which is close to the Bennachie Visitor Centre. For more information look on the Bailies of Bennachie Facebook page. This app was supported by a grant from the Heritage Lottery fund and created by Smart History and the Bailies of Bennachie.
