Schools and Groups Information

I am Alison, Garioch Ranger employed by Aberdeenshire Council based at the Bennachie Visitor Centre.

As part of the Ranger Service Team I deliver and promote:

This involves working with schools, community groups and members of the public throughout the year at Bennachie and throughout the Garioch Area.

To book a visit with the Garioch Ranger, call 01467 681 470 or 07786 021 781 or Email: garioch.ranger@aberdeenshire.gov.uk

The Ranger Service is available all year round and is especially busy during May and June. It is recommended to book a date during Jan/Feb/Mar if you want your school or group to visit during these two months. The finer detail of the visit can be discussed nearer the time - the priority is to get the date in the diary.

Once the date and content of the visit is finalised the Garioch Ranger will email a Booking Form which has to be completed and emailed back promptly. Along with the Booking Form, a Risk Assessment and a Terms and Conditions document will be sent to be read, adhered to and retained with the school or groups administration records.

The Bennachie Visitor Centre has a room available for having snacks, lunch, and leaving rucksacks etc.
